COMPANY BACKGROUND

CONTEGRA:
"Contegra" is a compound of two Latin words.  "Con" is Latin for "with" and "tegra" is from the Latin "Integra" from which we get our English word "integrity."  We chose the name "with integrity" to portray our desire that both the customer and supplier to Contegra will find us to be people of integrity.

COMPANY ROOTS:
Contegra was founded by Mark and Evan Shadduck.  Their background in the water and wastewater industry dates back to their grandfather Carl Gardeen, the founder of Consolidated Electric Company (St. Paul, MN).  Consolidated Electric (now part of US Filter/Control Systems) focuses on control systems.

In creating Contegra, the founders have developed a line of intuitive, user-friendly, capable sensors and controllers that enable local systems integrators to build and support panels.
